About Daly City, CA
Daly City, a San Francisco neighborhood, has a population that has increased significantly since the 1970s, mainly residential. There is the Cow Palace, the location of the 1964 Republican National Convention. Daly City, sparsely populated until the 1860s when a small community grew up around the train station close to dairyman John Daly’s farm, flourished after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake refugees moved onto lots cut out of the farm.
