He quickly diagnosed the issue, clearly explained my repair and replacement options without any pressure, and completed the entire water heater replacement in just a few hours. Adan came out quickly, made an assessment, gave me an estimate, then came back about an hour later to complete the repair (a toilet replacement). Extremely professional and nice, and great work! I’ve always had great service from Discount Plumbing! Amending my review for the service today from Joshua. I had a leak under my kitchen sink. In addition to assessing that issue, he immediately spotted that my dishwasher set-up was missing an air gap installation (guess the previous owner of my place didn’t bother with it even though it’s required by the Building Code). I had no idea about any of this, but was grateful that Joshua spotted this and made the recommendation in order to prevent problems down the line. Having learned that for homeowners, it’s ALWAYS water issues, I was glad to take this preventative measure in addition to getting my original issue fixed. Spent more money than i expected today since I was thinking I only needed one thing addressed, but the peace of mind is worth it and also worth it to not have to deal with another water damage situation and insurance in the future (at least for this).

Spencer replaced my pressure reducing valve. He worked really quick and did a great job. The install looks clean and was an upgrade too because I added the Moen shut off valve.

Very knowledgeable plumber. He explained current problems and better way to avoid recurrence. I highly recommend their services. If you are in Noe Valley, SF area, ask specifically for Joshua (+ Colt) as he knows inside out of sewage fresh water supply line in old and new houses.

These guys are always great. I was doing my dishes when my sink backed up. I gave them a call and they really set me up for clear expectations that hopefully someone would be able to make it same day but if not they established a back up time. They kept me updated the entire time and were able to see me the same day. Aiden was very polite and respectful, putting on boot covers as soon as he was invited in. He communicated clearly as to what he thinks the issue is, what he is going to try, and what it will cost. I had a stubborn clog that required back up so his partner Angel came to help out and was equally friendly. After a lot of elbow grease they managed to clear my drain and I was good to go. Highly recommend!

It was an extra difficult job and I would’ve expected another plumber to give up. This guy tried several things and he got it to work to undo a major clog.

Too expensive! A kitchen sink trap was replaced in about 15 minutes and I was charged $380, SMH. If I hadn't got knee replacement surgery I would have repaired it myself. Totally ripped off!

Simon was great. He was here to help us check the water pressure since it was really high. He helped us change the water pressure valve. He even went into the crawl space to check for potential leaks due to high water pressure.

Came in a Friday evening when they realized the urgency of the situation. Repaired and replaced a broken shower pipe from the condo above us the same evening. They are a great complany and highly recommend.

We had a slow-draining shower in our 1948 house. Our tech Spencer showed up at 2:00 PM, less than an hour after I called to ask for help. After the simple fixes failed, he kept after the problem -- trying one thing after another -- until it was finally sorted at 7:20 PM. Communicative, diligent, committed, and capable, I can't say enough good things about Patrick. The total repair, especially given the hours and skill it took, made the price seem very fair.

Last evening I was told by the guy who runs our swimming pool equipment that the gas lines in the pool room are rotted. I didn’t even know we had gas. I googled what entity would conduct repairs, thinking it must be PG&E. Found out that you need to hire someone. AI recommended a short list of businesses. I sent messages from the webpage to 3 directly. One responded I’d need to call for an appointment, one said “what day is good for you?” I responded “tomorrow”. Followed by what time? 9AM today, just 15 hours after hearing I’d need to address this issue, this eyecatcher of a van rolls up with this smiling Stephen face behind the wheel. Here it is 3 O’clock, and the work is all finished. The pipes WERE rusted, making the lines compromised, because rust EATS, around the clock….now they are updated pipes, latest technology, and he pointed out several other things to take into consideration that he noticed on this property built in 1962, maintenance deferred often. This guys was born of plumbers, who were born of tailgunners; he’s got a wife and 6 wee ones under his wings, has been plumbing things since infancy, and since 16, officially. Grew up right here much of his youth, knows all the burroughs, all the stories and where the bodies are. He knows something about pretty much everything. He’s got great technology in his truck if you want to take a look at the innards of your pipes which is pretty cool too. This review wants to know how I felt about the amount I paid, but I’ll tell you what…I didn’t get an estimate anywhere else because, safety first, AND the fact that it took me just 25 seconds to book the appointment, then to receive a photo of him and a time he’d arrive, then to get a call from him personally, when he was blocks away….PRICELESS!
